Since January 1st of 2018, I’ve been keeping a log of my daily work on Cave Defender. I’m sharing this log on a weekly basis so you can find out how development is going with the game. In the last week I:
- More basic in-Unity-editor animation testing.
- Looking into how to author the (basic) animations I want for the briefing system.
- More fixes to the briefing system, added ‘final page’ with a proceed button support.
- Simple prev/next button display toggling, and auto-text resizing for the new briefing system. Put in the draft of the dialog I have written for the pre-mission 4 briefing.
- Worked on new briefing system, got ‘typing text’ effect working the way I’d like.
