Cave Defender Devlog – Week of January 14, 2019
Since January 1st of 2018, I’ve been keeping a log of my daily work on Cave Defender. I’m sharing this log on a weekly basis so you can find out how development is going with the game. In the last week I:
- Posted screenshot saturday.
- Worked on story timeline, high level dialog and mission planning.
- Stubbed in a blocky mesh for mission 4. Fixed a bug where waves were ending too soon, because debris/enemy destruction was sometimes being double-counted. Started documenting design variables (hp, damage, speed) for new debris types. Another week where I am trying to get my work in at the last minute.
- Defined future milestones until ship. Updated the www.cavedefender.com landing page to reflect the decision to ship on the Oculus Go first.
