Cave Defender Devlog – Week of July 29, 2019

Since January 1st of 2018, I’ve been keeping a log of my daily work on Cave Defender. I’m sharing this log on a weekly basis so you can find out how development is going with the game. In the last week I:

  • Posted screenshot sunday.
  • Watched a talk about art direction in games, gave me some ideas about how to unify the style of the game, and draw ideas from reality.
  • Finally started storyboarding M4. Need to print a list of meshes required for the M4 briefing, to sketch those out as well.
  • Pretty much no work this week (again) due to other projects taking all my free cycles (still). Will get back to it this week, for real this time.
