Cave Defender Devlog – Week of March 25, 2019

Since January 1st of 2018, I’ve been keeping a log of my daily work on Cave Defender. I’m sharing this log on a weekly basis so you can find out how development is going with the game. In the last week I:

  • Brainstorming the mission 4 design with Olya. Currently thinking about being close to the ‘debris storm’ and while shields are down, charging a black-hole-opening-probe, until finally it is released, triggered, and all the debris stops in place, and then reverses course and the whole storm collapses into the singularity.
  • Stubbed out mission 4-specific game event scripting.
